PMP Study Group – Winter 2026

PMI-DHC is committed to the professional growth and development of our members. We know that many of you are currently pursuing various certifications, including PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce the formation of our Winter 2026 volunteer-led study group. This program is designed for easy participation and carries no fees.  

This study group will be led by Hope Ogbebor, PMP®, PMI-DHC member and volunteer. The group will meet virtually on Saturday mornings, beginning February 7, 2026, and ending on April 25, 2026, for a total of 24 hours. Topics covered may include the following: 

  1. PMP Application Process
  2. Organizational Influences, Project Life Cycle
  3. Project Integration Management
  4. Project Scope Management
  5. Project Schedule Management
  6. Project Cost Management
  7. Project Quality Management
  8. Project Resource Management
  9. Project Communications Management
  10. Project Risk Management
  11. Project Procurement Management
  12. Project Stakeholder Management
  13. Agile Project Management

Delivery: Weekends only (Saturday) two (2) hours for each session.
Duration: 12 weeks, two (2) hours per week. (Total: 24 Hours)

Methodology

  • Practical Case Studies: Focus on real-life scenarios to develop practical understanding.

Prerequisites:

  1. At least three (3) years project management experience and three (3) years of experience in business, industry, or technical role, for a total of six (6) years of work experience, is recommended.

  3. Be within six (6) months of sitting for the PMP exam.

Hope Ogbebor, PMP, is a results-driven project leader with over ten years of experience in the construction industry. With a background in Civil Engineering and Construction Project Management, he is passionate about building strong teams, fostering clear communication, and mentoring aspiring professionals through strategic leadership. Outside of work, Hope is deeply devoted to his faith and family, a proud father of three boys, and a loving husband who affectionately calls his wife his “only daughter.”
