Team Agreements to Address the New Reality of Hybrid Work
Leslie Wallace-Munce
You’re all about leading your team, but how do you update your Team Agreements to address the new reality of hybrid work?
Working with teams virtually, it can sometimes feel like we’re driving in a thick fog - we need to slow down, because it takes longer to register and respond to what’s being communicated. The solution then is turning on our high beams of awareness, to amplify all of our senses.
You will come away with an understanding of:
- The 4 basic human needs of Connection, Status, Autonomy and Freedom.
- The challenges posed by the hybrid workplace that impact our interactions and cause us to "play it safe" and go into reactive mode.
- How to tailor a "no surprises" Team Agreement for the hybrid workplace to help your team feel safe and take more risks
Be the force that invites your team to thrive in the hybrid workplace.
Agile is Everywhere
Alan Zucker
Agile is not just for technology projects. In this presentation, Alan Zucker argues that Agile is everywhere. The values and principles are organic and align with natural ways of working. Its practices are broadly applicable across professions, industries, and business domains. All organizations, from non-profits to high-tech, can benefit.
The Manifesto of Agile Software Development presents a set of values and principles for delivering working software quickly and providing value to customers. Small changes extend the Manifesto and make it universally applicable. All knowledge work domains and even some traditional ones can benefit.
Agile practices and tools enable and empower all. Examples demonstrate how techniques can be applied to traditional industries such as the military, construction, education, and non-profits. Agile provides a framework for solving complex problems with creativity and innovative thoughts. They allow us to harness our energies, improve our focus, and achieve greatness.
